Sunset walk at the AFB. Helicopters flying overhead throughout the night. Neptune enjoyed long walks and chasing the prairie dogs. Even slept through the night! 😊 Susannah learned how to capture the moon. Nice night and relaxing morning. Neptune, of course, spent the day in his usual spot behind the passenger seat. Today we continued to follow the route that Joe will be biking. Very few bike lanes (ie little to no shoulder) on the road. Drove through Cut Bank, MT – close to Canada. We continued on through Glacier National Park. Neptune did enjoy a small walk around the Middle Fork Flathead River. Beautiful country and the mountains are incredible. Why does it always seem there is more uphill than downhill?? Continuing to meet nice people who are very patient and kind with the RV driving (my slow backing up process). Saw the BNSF train moving the business cars today. Trestle bridges are super cool. Arrived to our next site after another 90 degree day. Everyone took a moment to relax.
Heading to Washington tomorrow. Long travel day before the biking begins.
Thank you again for all your support. It means a lot now and even more once the biking begins.
